Atlantic Edge

Where Spain meets the Atlantic: Galicia sits on the far northwestern tip of Spain, a rugged, wild coastline that dictates our way of life.

This isn't the sunny Mediterranean; this is raw ocean energy, cold water currents, and dramatic cliffs. This region is a gorgeous, hidden gem that most people don't know about yet—and we kind of like keeping it that way.

Surfing in Galicia

Catching the good wave

The land of the good wave is more than a metaphor. Galicia is a legendary (if underrated) surfing paradise, boasting serious swells and some of Spain's best surf breaks.

This is where the 'Good Wave' philosophy comes alive: that shared thrill of pure coastal energy. We channel that same anticipation and excitement into every tin we produce.

Galicia's treasures

Galicia is a bit different from the rest of Spain, so don't expect flamenco lessons here. Our culture leans hard into our ancient Celtic roots — bagpipes, myths and a little bit of magic.

We even perfected the Roman salazón (salt preservation) method, which was essentially the starting point for our modern canneries. This unique, slightly weird heritage is in everything we do.

Mercado Madness!!

Forget the fancy restaurants; the mercado is where the action is. Galicians treat their daily markets like a social event mixed with serious business, where the freshest catch is loudly celebrated, fiercely debated, and taken home to be devoured. It's a loud, vibrant, food-focused lifestyle built on community and quality ingredients.
